Reading

Hutson loves to read or pretend to read. Well he likes flipping the page and his first word besides mama, abba (Hebrew for Daddy), and dada seems to be book. But it's more like, "boooo."

One year later- Easter

I'm so excited to post one year later pictures, but a little sad too. Just so you know too there were no photography skills used in any of these. Well the one with him in the basket Mike was trying to be creative. I decided to take a picture every Easter of him in our big brown chair with his basket. Hopefully he'll be as cooperative next year.

The first one Mike took. I honestly felt sorry for the boy. It looked like he was very uncomfortable in the basket...



however if he were uncomfortable I think he would have let us know like in the next picture. Yes I took this and thought it would be cute. I ended up just laughing. As soon as I picked him up he stopped crying.



The last one is an outfit Mike's mom gave us and the bunny ears. I think everyone that has seen this picture thought first "poor Hutson" and then laughed a lot! :)

Vacation

I took last Wednesday through Friday off so Mike, Hutson, and I worked around the house and had plenty of picture practice. The flowers are blooming so beautifully right now. These azaleas are right beside our driveway but are the work of our neighbors. We enjoy them though!



He doesn't seem to like sitting in the grass. Notice he lifts his legs.

Blue Bonnets

Mike, Hutson and I trekked up to Brenham today (home of Blue Bell Ice Cream).  We didn't get to visit the Blue Bell Creamery but we did find some pretty blue bonnets and took pictures of the boy.  

He's walking!

Hutson has been taking steps here and there recently (before Wednesday). On Wednesday, I picked him up from daycare and his teacher said, "He's been walking like he's been doing it all along." So he went from a step or two to walking across the room. We're excited and here's a video to show off his new ability! Enjoy. :)

Weekend Fun

Last weekend Allie and Robert Sebesta came for a visit. We put them to work assembling our patio furniture that's been sitting in the garage since October and a climber and slide for Hutson. (Thanks so much for the help Robert and Allie!) Last weekend I didn't take many pictures but this weekend I caught a couple cute ones of Hutson and Mike playing on the new swing/slide thing.
