ER trip

You may remember when Hutson was 10 months old he fell at daycare and required glue at the doctor's office.   

Yesterday Hutson and Mike were playing hide and seek.  Mike hid in the kitchen and Hutson took off.  He feel and hit his head again.  There was a huge gash (from my perspective).  We immediately got in the car and headed to the emergency room.  He required 5 stitches!  The worst part for Hutson was being strapped to a backboard while Mike and the nurse held him down and allowed the doctor to stitch.  He told me today the stitching part didn't hurt.  :)  The doc and nurse remarked Mike and I did pretty well for our first stitches.  

He didn't appear like it bothered him at all today.  Here's his new look:

2 1/2 years!

Friday Hutson turned 2 1/2! It's really hard to believe. I attempted some portraits yesterday morning. It was a little difficult because 1. he's 2 1/2 2. It was a bright morning 3. Our neighborhood is not the best for portraits. However i really liked a few. Here's my favorite:
