Yesterday Hutson and Mike were playing hide and seek. Mike hid in the kitchen and Hutson took off. He feel and hit his head again. There was a huge gash (from my perspective). We immediately got in the car and headed to the emergency room. He required 5 stitches! The worst part for Hutson was being strapped to a backboard while Mike and the nurse held him down and allowed the doctor to stitch. He told me today the stitching part didn't hurt. :) The doc and nurse remarked Mike and I did pretty well for our first stitches.
He didn't appear like it bothered him at all today. Here's his new look:

Wow! Congrats on surviving your first stitches. I don't think we would have done as well!
O wow, Hutson. My goodness! Well, you look great with your wonderful smiles!
And he is still completely photogenic and adorable! Wow. Glad you all made it through!

Poor guy! Caleb had to be strapped down on that papoose board in the ER when he got stitches on his lip. He was also 2 at the time... and this was the same day I was up in L&D delivering Carter. Gotta love the excitement of boys.
He's so cheerful! Love that kid!
Hey, maybe you'll get a cool scar like Harry Potter!! You sure wear those stitches well! What a big boy you are!
Poor brave Hutson- brave parents too for holding down your child to have stitches. That must have been hard! Sorry I haven't been on lately -we've had hard drive issues.
