Hutson and I had fun last week making a pizza together.  He loves to help in the kitchen!

our weekend

This past weekend was busy!  Saturday Hutson had his last music class of the semester.  He really seemed to enjoy the class and loved playing the instruments.  He sings the songs all the time.  Below is Hutson about to strum the teacher's guitar.

After music class, we headed to Dallas.  I entered Hutson in a model search contest with some amazing photographers and he won!  You can see one of the images here.  I'll be sure to share the rest when we get them.  We had the photo shoot on Sunday.  On Saturday night though we stayed with one of Mike's college roommates and his kids.  Rachel, Todd's wife, was away for the weekend unfortunately.  We haven't seen them since Macey (now 9) was about Hutson's age.  We had a lot of fun hanging out with Todd, Macey, and Jake.  Jake and Hutson took a ride in Jake's car and Jake even let Hutson drive it himself.  Hutson was enamored with the car!

I got a new lens for my birthday which I used here!  I'm loving it.  :)  For anyone who's interested (Laura) it's a 50 mm 1.4!

Easter in May

So I haven't been the best blogger lately.  Sorry about that.  Life is a little hectic with everything we have going on.  And the pregnancy is really taking it out of me this time.  I think it's because we also have a three year old running around.

Here are some pics from Easter and Hutson dying Easter eggs.  He did really well this year and didn't break one.

Found these guys this morning riding Hot Wheels.  Hutson has been placing them all over the house in random places.  It's really made us laugh.

A few weeks ago we met one of my best friends who lives in North Carolina.  Rachel got a pic of the boys on the Baylor swings with her phone.  Aren't they cute?  Isaac is sitting by Hutson and poor Eli is in the back there.
