Strawberries

Until today Hutson would not eat strawberries. However when he sees me (not Mike just me) eating something he wants some of it. So I was eating a strawberry and I gave him some and he said, "mmmm...yum." I then gave him a whole strawberry and he ate it all...stem included. So he had three more without the stems.   I couldn't believe he ate the stem...gross.  :)

No-no

Mike and I have noticed while in the car Hutson will say, "no, no, no, no, no, etc..."  Anyway yesterday when I was riding in the back with him.  He shook his finger at me and said, "no, no." Well, we laughed pretty hard.  I've been trying to get it on video.  He does not cooperate very well with the camera.  Here's the best I could get.  Oh...Mike and I don't do this so we assume he's picked up the finger wagging at daycare.  Mike says he bets Hutson taunts them back with it.  

Fork

Hutson has recently made a great leap forward in his eating abilities.  He can now use a fork fairly well!  I was really surprised by this and it seems he just started doing it without any practice.  (What a smart boy we have!)  Here's a picture and a short video.  In the video I tried to get him to do some animal sounds but he was too hungry.  

Favorite things

Hutson loves getting into the cabinets right now.  We really need to baby/toddler proof.  

Our living room has become his playroom.  Even though his face doesn't reflect it, he loves the farm in the background.  It makes all kind of animal sounds he likes to mimic.  He now says "moo," "baa," "neigh," "quack, quack," "meow," and some others I can't remember right now.  

This is Hutson's friend Owen.  He was actually pretty gentle with him which surprised me.  Next year they'll be running around together.  Owen was born a year after Hutson.  

This is Liam.  Another friend.  Liam was also born about a year after Hutson.  We seem to be having a baby boom among our friends.  We have two more coming this month and another baby was just born!  I can't wait to see them all running around together.
