10 months old and Super glue

Yesterday I get a call from the daycare. I was at work and they start off with, "Don't panic, but..." So they tell me Hutson fell and hit his head and they think he'll need stitches. Stitches! He's 10 months old!! Part of me was thinking, "my poor baby." The other part of me thought, "Well it was bound to happen." So Mike picked him up from the JCC and called me. He said it didn't look that big but took Hutson on to the pediatrician's office. Well no stitches but he needed glue. (The doctor called it super glue.) Apparently it's deeper than it looks. So I'm sure this is just the first of such injuries that'll scare me to death. Here are his injuries.

Mr. Tough Guy! Apparently, the daycare said it didn't even phase him. And he was such a good patient and didn't get too upset by the gluing. There were 3 coats.

Hutson is 10 months old today! I can't believe how fast he's grown. Here are a couple of pictures I took of him today with our tree. Surprisingly, he hasn't tried to climb the tree or knock it over. He does like to touch some of the ornaments but we can deal with that.

Sweet boy - what a scary call to get from daycare. You're right, though, this was probably the least of many to come! Oh, the woes of boys' mommies!
