I took this one with my remote for the camera. The camera was on a tripod so that's why the angle is weird and NOT flattering. It almost looks like a 6 year old is taking our picture. Notice Hutson's expression. He kept looking at us and then looking toward the camera. I'm sure he thought we were nuts for smiling and looking at the camera with no one behind it.
Hutson really wasn't into pictures today.
Just thought this one was cute!

I do love that last picture of Hutson - you could have fun creating captions for this one..."Hutson demonstrates classic stink-eye technique", or "Momma, I SAID no more pictures, please!" :-)
We ran into the same trouble you did with my nieces - we tried a family photo at home with the tripod when they were 20 and 8 months, and they were looking everywhere BUT at the camera. They just didn't get it! No wonder the lady at the photo studio has an assistant with a stuffed animal who coaxes smiles out of kids.
Oh, and I totally missed the main point of the post - congrats, Mike!
