"take it off, Mommy"

Hutson has gotten very demanding as of late.  His favorite phrases are "Get up,  Mommy," "Come on, Mommy," "Get it, Mommy."  We're trying to work please into his vocabulary.  On this day he pleaded with me to wear this shirt.  After putting it on him he immediately said, "Take it off Mommy."  I found it very funny and took some pictures.

His sentences when talking about other things are getting more complex too.  Today he told me, "Jesus not coming to Mommy's house."  He goes to a Methodist preschool and I have no idea what they've been talking about there.  Earlier today while doing something he shouldn't he looked at me and said, "No Mommy!  I not doing anything."

Hutson looks like a baby statue of liberty in the second shot - what fun! - Laura

So I would just laugh at Charlie when he was Hutson's age saying similar things. Now that he's 5, he's a little demanding and sassy, and I've found myself saying, "Do NOT talk to me that way." Just a word of caution.

Looks like he's preparing for a toga party.

I thought toga party too! Future Chamber man (like his daddy?)?

We are starting to experience the whole 2-yr-old thing like Hutson has, so it's just "geyup" for "Mommy, I'd like for you to carry me know." I kinda look forward to the sentences, but looks like it will be a whole new world of issues!!
